Privacy Policy

Lucky Girl Academy is operated by Genie Minded LLC (“we,” “us,” “Lucky Girl”), a Nevada limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect when you apply to or participate in Lucky Girl Academy at academy.luckygirl.com, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it.

What we collect

When you apply, you give us:

• •Your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and Instagram handle.
• •Your written answers about your goals, your reasons for applying, and what you are struggling with.
• •Ranges describing your savings and household income. We ask for ranges, not exact figures, and we never ask for account numbers or balances.
• •Whether you have taken part in our rituals, ceremonies, or events before.

If you enroll, we also hold:

• •Your account login (we use a magic link sent to your email, so we never store a password).
• •The work you do inside the program: your written exercises, check-ins, goals, and anything you post in the community rooms.
• •Notes our team writes about your admissions call.
• •A record that your payment succeeded. Card details are handled entirely by Shopify and Recharge and never reach our systems.

Why we collect it

• •To decide whether Lucky Girl Academy is the right fit for you, and to prepare for your admissions call.
• •To schedule that call and send you the calendar invitation and reminders.
• •To run the program: give you access, deliver your weekly material, and let you take part in the community.
• •To email you about your application, your enrollment, and the sessions.
• •To understand how many people apply, book, and enroll, so we can improve the program.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use what you write in your application or inside the program as marketing material.

How we use Google services

We use the Google Calendar API to schedule admissions calls. This is worth stating plainly, because it is easy to misunderstand:

• •We connect to one Google account: our own. It belongs to Lucky Girl Academy and is used only to hold our admissions call calendar.
• •We never ask you to connect your Google account, and we have no access to your Google account, your calendar, or your email.
• •When you book a call, we read only our own calendar's busy and free times so we can show you which slots are open. We do not read the titles or contents of our events, and we could not read yours.
• •We then create one event on our calendar for your call and add your email address as a guest, so Google can send you the invitation and reminders.
• •If your call is cancelled or rescheduled, we delete or update that event.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence models, we do not transfer it except as needed to provide the scheduling described above, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else touches your information

We use a small number of service providers, each doing one job. They may process your information only to do that job for us:

• •Supabase, which stores our database and handles your login.
• •Vercel, which hosts the website.
• •Resend, which delivers our email.
• •Google Calendar, which schedules your admissions call as described above.
• •Shopify and Recharge, which process payment if you enroll.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep applications for up to two years, so we can recognize you if you apply again for a later cohort. If you enroll, we keep your account and your program work while your account is open, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. You can ask us to delete any of it sooner.

Your choices

• •You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
• •You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• •You can ask us to delete your information, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
• •You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. We will still send you messages about an application or enrollment that is already in progress.

Security

Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to the admissions database is limited to the people who run the program. We never store card numbers. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects you.

Children

Lucky Girl Academy is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will email people who have an open application or an active enrollment.
